When used for post-op recovery, you can also rest knowing your pet is safe from toxic chemicals found in many pet beds. The contained animal is unable to move away from a bed that is laden with flame retardant, formaldehyde, chemical chlorides and many other toxic chemicals. These chemicals off-gas for the life of the product. The recoverying animal is inhaling and absorbing the toxicity whilst its body is trying to heal.
